Nance Becker, Secretary
Nance Becker is recently retired from her long-time career as a civil attorney. She has played flute since childhood. She has been MVP's principal flutist since 2002, and also performs with the Presidio Woodwind Quintet. Nance joined the MVP Board in 2005. In addition to the role of Secretary, she works on communications and special events and advises the Board about legal issues.
Seth Jaffe is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Levi Strauss & Co. and leads the global legal department in its support of businesses operating in over 110 countries. He is responsible for all aspects of legal, ethics and compliance, global security, and governance matters, in addition to acting as counselor to the board of directors and executive leadership. Jay Williams graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in music, which he promptly shelved in order to earn a living. He was an active volunteer in San Francisco schools, but missed his musical life. His midlife crisis was to start playing the French Horn. He found a home in the MVP horn section 10 years ago, and he persisted. He served on MVP's Artistic Director/ Conductor search committee, and joined the Board soon after. When he’s not practicing the horn he’s enjoying Marin County’s twisty roads on his motorcycle.
