Mill Valley Philharmonic began in the fall of 2000 as a small string ensemble. Now in our twelfth season, MVP includes a music
director/conductor and sixty talented and dedicated volunteer musicians playing
strings, winds, brass, timpani and percussion. We present masterworks
and world premieres, engaging both local composers and soloists in our
programs. Innovative programming is a hallmark of Mill Valley
Philharmonic's vision; audience education in an integral component of
all our performances.
